ZaCon V

ZaCon V is the fifth incarnation of a locally organized security con and will be on the 16th of November this year (venue TBC, but somewhere in Joh’burg).  In the past it covered topics such as physical security,  big data (as in SKA volume), SAP R3 exploits, game hacking, Android and anything one would expect to see at a con of  this nature.  Last year saw some excellent talks and I can’t wait for this year.

In case you have not seen it, here is my two favourite talks:

1. Andrew talking about physical security

2. Glenn talking about Snoopy

ZaCon organisers is also looking for volunteers to help out on and before the day with various activities, so if you are interested contact:

See you there!  Oh, and my talk “The long tail of wifi antenna design” was accepted at ZaCon V (yay!) – it is all about using 3d printing for rapid prototyping applied to wifi antenna design.
